Where is your options data from?
Our options data is from the Options Price Reporting Authority (OPRA), and we partner with Intrinio to access the OPRA data feed. We also calculate various options data ourselves, such as IV and Greeks.
Are you an OPRA data vendor?
Yes, we are a registered OPRA data vendor and authorized to display 15-minute delayed options data.
What is the data delay for options data provided by OptionCharts.io?
Our options data is 15 minutes delayed and updated at least every 10 minutes throughout the day during US trading hours (9:30 am to 4 pm Eastern Time (ET) on weekdays).
Do you offer a real-time options plan?
At this time we only offer 15-minute delayed options. We plan to offer a real-time options data plan in the future.
How often is open interest data updated?
Unlike option volume and option prices, open interest data is only updated once a day. This is not a limitation on our end but is due to how open interest is collected and aggregated. The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is responsible for providing open interest data for options trading in the United States. The OCC posts open interest data the morning after a trading session, and it does not update the data during the day. For instance, the open interest data displayed on a Friday morning represents the trading activity from Thursday. You can find the updated open interest data on OptionCharts by approximately 8:30 am ET each trading day.
How do I cancel my subscription, view invoices, or update my payment method?
We use Stripe's customer portal to allow you to self-manage your billing in one place. The customer portal allows you to:
  • Cancel a subscription
  • View invoices
  • Update payment methods
  • Update billing information
  • Switch to a different subscription plan

To access the customer billing portal, log in to your account, go to optioncharts.io/profile, select 'Manage Your Subscription', and follow the onscreen instructions to log in to the portal.

How do I switch to a different subscription plan?

You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription, as well as switch to an annual or monthly billing plan. To change to a different subscription plan, please use the customer billing portal and choose 'Update Plan' once logged in.

To access the customer billing portal, log in to your account, go to optioncharts.io/profile, select 'Manage Your Subscription', and follow the onscreen instructions to log in to the portal.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will last until the end of the current billing period.
