We hope everyone has had an amazing 2025 year so far! This year has started off with a lot of volatility, with many of the indexes correcting from our 2024 highs. While the additional volatility can be fun, it can feel chaotic at times trying to keep up with your favorite stocks from an options perspective. Let us introduce you today to our new Watchlist feature.

"But I already have a watchlist!"

We know! And that's why we're making sure our watchlists bring you extra value to any watchlists you may already have. Being an options-focused platform allows us to focus on the metrics and stats that matter the most to option traders.

Our watchlists display these key market details:

  1. Ticker: The stock's trading symbol.
  2. Name: Complete name of the stock or security.
  3. Price: Latest stock price value.
  4. Implied Volatility (IV): Shows expected price movement range. Higher IV results in more expensive options. Sellers target high IV stocks since buyers must pay bigger premiums.
  5. IV Rank: Compares current IV to past data. Shows if present volatility is higher or lower than typical levels.
  6. Open Interest: Counts total open interest for a stock and put-call ratio.
  7. Option Volume: Shows total contracts traded in the latest session and put-call ratio.

How to Use Watchlists

Find the Watchlist Tab

Find the watchlist tab after clicking your profile icon.

Create a New List

Find the New List button and give your new watchlist a name.

Add to Watchlist

Find the "+ Ticker to Watchlist" button and search your ticker of choice.

Then voila! You've added your first ticker and on your way to a more organized method of options trading. Add more as necessary!

Here's an example of our Semiconductor Watchlist that we're watching for 2025.

Being able to look at IV rank, open interest, and option volume all in one view makes it so much easier to decide whether to buy or sell the options we trade; it's amost like "Deal or No Deal"!
